King of the World

I got such a kick out of Jaden today. We took the boat up to Ririe Reservoir to try it out. He rode in the car with us. He is such a little chatterbox. He never stops talking, except to eat his snacks. While we were at the lake, he was so worried that I was going to let one of his brothers fall into the water.
He was so cute with his cartoon t-shirt, burger king hat, sunglasses, and sippy.

Triple the Fun!!

What an experience it is hanging out with the boys!! Even a trip to Arby's is an adventure. I bought a new little point and shoot camera that does video. I bought it to keep in my purse so I could get photos and movies of our outings when I don't want to haul around my big camera backpack. I think this little camera will be a blast.

Through the eyes of a child

Well, I'm one year older today. What a great day I had. My family made it a special day for me. Heather and Beau are here for the weekend. Heather has been telling me that she wanted to take Harlee to the zoo. It was fairly warm and partly sunny this morning so it seemed like the best time to go. What fun it was watching Harlee see the zoo animals for the first time. She loved it!!
I think her mommy and daddy had fun watching her, too!! Sorry, the photos of Heather and Harlee aren't ready yet.

It was nice while it lasted.....

We knew that this afternoon was going to be our last hot weather for a while. Amber needed me to watch the boys for a couple of hours, so I got out the pool. Reminds me of the way I spent so many of my afternoons when the girls were little.

Wagon Train

Tonight we had a great time with the boys. Brigham wanted his mom but didn't want to crawl to her on the grass, so he walked several steps. I got out the lawnmower and rode on it with Jaden (letting him steer). He loved it so we hooked on the wagon so he and his brothers could have a ride. Of course, they wanted their mom so Amber decided to ride in the wagon, too. Zoey even got in for a few minutes!! Of course riding with hands held up is always a big hit.

Trip to Moab

We had a fabulous trip to Moab with Brenda and Steve. They are so much fun and kept me laughing the entire trip.

Of course, I love doing photography on these scenic outings. I haven't got many of the photos done yet, but here are a couple of the first ones.

The first thing we did when we got there was hike in Park Avenue. Steve said that this was one of his favorite parts of the trips because of the majesty there. He is right, it is majestic for sure.

Then on Monday night, Greg and I went for a drive just after a big rainstorm had ended. The clouds were very thick overhead. Right at sundown, a little area of clouds broke up and the most beautiful, golden light came out and hit on the landforms. We happened to be at balanced rock right then and I was able to get some photos that I think I will print for my home.

Harlee Came to Visit

It was such a joy having Harlee visit us last weekend. She just gets cuter every day. Too bad she didn't like the bike ride much.

Heather always puts a couple of little pony tails on the top of her head. At night, when the pony tails come out, her hair is so funny. She has a lot of hair. This photo is when she woke up on Saturday morning. I sure hope we get to have her visit us again soon. By the time she comes again we should be boating. I hope she likes the boat more than she liked the bikes.

For Jaden

Jaden,

Do you remember these animals from our zoo trip yesterday? It sure was fun going with you. Your brothers liked it too.

We are crazy

Since we have been complaining about our long winter, we are crazy for traveling to winter on a beautiful spring day. But it was fun.

Greg and I have made it a tradition to go to Teton Park when the roads are plowed in the spring to go on a bike ride before the crowds start visiting the park. This year we talked the family into joining us. It was quite the effort getting all the kids and equipment there.

Everyone gets buckled in....

The scenery is beautiful as we ride.
