My last post was about the little princess. This one is about my other 3 sweethearts. I got to tend the boys on Thursday and loved every minute of it. I sure was tired at the end of the afternoon, though. I don't know how Amber does it. She is amazing.
Jaden is at such an adorable stage of life. He is interested in everything and is so adorable. The twins are such a handful, but are so cute, too!! They make me laugh, which is a great thing!!
I watched Jaden alone, first. We bought a new wagon, went to the park, where he had to pull it through every puddle, then played Candyland, where he creamed me!!
Some of the photos are from Tuesday and some from Thursday. A friend is letting me try out some really nice lenses, which is fun.....but could end up being expensive for me!!
Later in the afternoon I watched the twins for a while. We had fun just keeping out of trouble.

The Princess
For the time being, Harlee is the only little princess in the family. It sure was fun spending time with a princess last weekend. Since we got to watch her on Sunday while Beau and Heather went to Utah to pick up Beau's mom we really got to enjoy Harlee. She was so snuggly and cute with us. It was a real joy.

The Baby Shower
What a fun night we had last Saturday having a party to celebrate the upcoming birth of Baby Barbo (I'm sure he will have a real name once he is born). Jenn received many wonderful gifts and we had fun seeing some of Mike's baby clothes. Hard to believe that he was ever that small. My friend, Katie, helped me dip strawberries for the refreshments. It was fun learning how and I was surprised how easy it was. The girls did a good job planning the night. They had fun thinking about it and preparing.
Now we just get to look forward to the BIG day!! Hope you had a great night, Jenn.

Recuperation

Ouch!!
We've had so much going on the past while. It's nice to have a quiet morning to relax and recuperate. Before the 4th of July when Greg was stepping out of the car, he felt something pop in his left knee. He didn't tell me about it for a couple of days, but soon it was obvious he was in distress. Each day the pain seemed to get worse for him. I knew it was bad when he didn't waterski when we went to Hebgen Lake.
Luckily, we have the perfect resource for knee injuries in our family. Since Ronda works at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake and is the assistant for Dr. Trawick, who specializes in knees we knew who to call. She got us in to see the doctor and got surgery scheduled for us the very next day so that we would only have to make one trip to Salt Lake. Greg had a radial tear in his medial miniscus. I don't think that it was a particularly bad tear, but was a kind of tear that is the most painful. So we got it fixed and now he is home recuperating. Suprisingly enough, he is being a pretty good patient so far. We'll see if he stays down for the week or so that the doctor recommended.
He will probably kill me for this, but here he is getting his leg shaved for the surgery. Ronda's hosptial treated us like royalty. I can't believe how fast they took care of us. Thank you so much, Ronda. We are very grateful to get his recovery on the road so quickly so we can enjoy the rest of the summer. If all goes well, Greg should be skiing again by our Redfish Lake Vacation.

July 4th Fireworks
I have always loved the July 4th Fireworks. Thirty one years ago Greg and I went on one of our first dates. It was the time when we first knew that we were interested in each other. We have enjoyed it every year since. I can only think of one year that we missed the fireworks since then.
More to come later on our other July 4th traditions.
